About us

We are a team that has been together since our inception in 2013. In 2017, we relocated from Spike Island to the five star Fota Island Resort, where we live among the 22 acres of woodland paradise. In 2018 we won multiple awards for our team building packages, including the Irish Sports Federation Business of the Year, Corks best kept secret and Cork Chamber marketing award.

We are committed to delivering a safe, environmentally sustainable, fun experience for you and your family, team, school, colleagues, underlings, slaves, robots, pets, minions, etc etc. And we do it with a great sense of humour. Well okay, maybe the humour mightn’t be “great” but we promise that your experience will be.

Your safety is paramount to us, so we are the very best in our field. All of our instructors have Covid safety training, child and vulnerable adult training, first aid training and suicide awareness training as a minimum. Our Managing Director sits on the board of the Irish Association of Adventure Tourism (IAAT) and was part of the team that brought in the COVID-19 Adventure Centre guidelines for reopening in conjunction with Fáilte Ireland.

We love where we live and we want you to love it too. We are active members of Leave No Trace and Sustainable Tourism Ireland.

The great outdoors is for everyone, therefore we have adopted a social inclusion policy in partnership with Barnardo's to ensure that everyone can experience what Fota Adventure has to offer. If you know a group that would benefit from our experience, speak to our team whilst on site or contact us.
